so you'd rather have 5 more cops give their life to drag him out alive? why would he be stocked up with all that ammo and still trying to shoot cops if he was innocent? wouldnt he at least attempt to say hey i didnt really kill all those cops i said i was going to kill before i killed them? police officers are armed for a reason.

Whoa. We have laws, we have definitions of right and wrong behavior and means of dealing with those who break the laws. We are, essentially, a lawful, and law abiding society. In most cases when laws are broken, those breaking them proceed through defined processes and are dealt with appropriately. It's not an infallible system but for the most part it works well, and better than most.

There was a situation in LA several years ago where the Symbionese Liberation Army was holed up in a house and eventually met the same fate at Dorner. They too had no recourse to their rights but we known to have committed several crimes.

Is it then reasonable somehow, to say Dorner's rights were violated, any more than the rights of these folk, despite Constitutional guarantees?

actually cops funerals are usually a pretty big deal... they just usually arent on tv because they were'd killed after a manhunt the entire nation was watching. tv stations go for ratings, this is an opportunity to go for ratings. its close to hollywood, so production levels could be higher... police depts out there took a big hit in the public eye, would make sense they'd want to look good here to help them look better in public eye.

You are so frickin wrong! The Constitution guarantees all American citizens the right to a trial. At least it did. By the way murdering someone as a witch or as a criminal, of any sort, is against the Constitution in the strictest form. Murder is murder. Self defense is self defense. All have to be decided as per evidence in a court of law according to the Constitution. You and the LAPD had this guy already tried and convicted. What if someone set him up? What if he was not the man who did all these things attributed to him. What it this is the best psi op yet? Do you think Dorner could have know things the other "authorities" did not want known so they made this elaborate story that really set people against the cops and military (or at least that is what they wanted to happen) and it is all a hoax? Can you prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, he was the guilty one? No you can not! You speculate! That is why we have rule of law. Otherwise you are no better than the mob that burns people because you THINK so or SOMEONE ELSE SAID so. I would never trust you on a jury! If he is proven guilty he gets what ever the law allows. He was run back into a cabin by bullets so they could fry him. He was never going to get due process.

By "publicly defined as an outlaw", I don't mean some fed saying he's a terrorist and NDAA rules and we can bring in armed drones. I mean, according to what to me is accurate reporting, he killed several people on his hit list and a few others that were associated, being policemen. I have no reason to doubt the reports. This isn't Sandy Hook, and it's not going to lead to riots in LA. IMO, the police took appropriate action.

Not sure what happened to that prior post, but it was supposed to have copied lots of previous commentary.

And as for Monica, I kept going back page search by page search until I could find something about her career or SOMETHING prior to this shooting and no articles at all related to being an asst. coach nor her stellar career and Lawrence's at Concordia University.

Which one and how do you know he wrote it? Did you see him write it? Who said he wrote it? The news! Oh my ... they always tell the whole truth, don't they. You can not prove anything! That is why we have a Constitution and laws.

I ask you again to provide credible evidence that Horner did not murder Quan and her boy friend, the Riverside policeman, and the San Bernadino deputy.

no idea which version he is purported to have written, even.

Uh, it's a little more significant than "fair play". This isn't a football game. This is the law of the land.

There are these little documents called The Constitution of the United States and the United States Bill of Rights which dictate that a person is given a fair trial. How would it be if any random police force in the country were to decide that they can kill any suspect they want without a trial?
