So, from the press conference, I only gathered "we didn't purposely burn the cabin down" and "the body has not been confirmed to be Dorner yet." One as Snark and BossBitch have repeatedly brought up is a blatant lie. We all heard over the scanner law enforcement intentionally burned that m-f'er down. The other, the fact that the body hasn't been confirmed to be Dorner's yet we already knew.

This press conference was a joke. Lies and information we already knew for the past day. I'd suggest the police departments take some more time to fabricate their story before the next press conference.

They ended the press conference prematurely because the sheriff was getting pissed off at the questions.

One reporter challenged an officer when the officer claimed the cabin had been searched. The reporter said "we talked to people - they said nobody ever knocked on their doors". I think thats what did it.

As they were walking away, someone shouted "Did you ever give him a chance to surrender?"

They ignored the question, of course.

in that radio traffic...they said "7 burners in place"....nothing but a bunch of liars


when I enlisted and later deployed, you provide a sample of your DNA, at least in the Army....so maybe ditto for the Navy...so that's how they have his DNA perhaps

Since the prior discussion centered on the rights of Mr Dorner to due process, I'd like to suggest a similar situation in Alabama...the man who took the 5 yr old hostage into his bunker eventually stormed bye SWAT personnel and shot to death. Where was his due process, or is there a difference here?

No one was in any danger after Dorner was cornered. They are supposed to de escalate, negoitate and try to take the suspect alive (if possible). They negotiated with the fellow in the bunker for eight days. Dorner, not at all.

What is striking me as strange (and obvious) is that there are all these "copies" of his supposed "manifesto" that was posted on facebook but no date. Facebook always dates stuff. Besides the supposed manifesto, (stating the obvious) there seems to be no evidence he did what they said, and who knows WHO wrote that, or that it EVER appeared on any facebook account.

The original facebook was pulled down as people from GLP were looking at it. All thats left is a screenshot.

Rick Heltebrake was never an LAPD cop. You heard wrong. If you did hear it, it would be in a written article or a video online. Please post your source.

He has been a year round manager at Boy Scott Camp Tahquitz. If he does get the reward, he said he would split it with the couple who were tied up in their cabin by Dorner.

Heltebrake will also use the reward to renovate the Boy Scout Camp.

The whole story doesn't make sense. He supposedly wrote how he was going "off grid" and no one would be able to find him, and his version of this was STAYING IN ABANDONED VACATION HOMES? **THAT IS NOT OFF GRID THAT IS ON THE RUN** Taking your own car, and just driving then hiding is fear, not a plan.
