Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped ... Quoting: Miss Kitty If this is true. who has been killed? Was it a cadaver put there previously to the fire fight? Was it an innocent woman? Who??? well, if you are referring to this now famous photo: [link to fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net (secure)] that photo has been floating around for more than 2 hours now, and there is not one news outlet anywhere that is reporting what is shown in the photo. so, decide for yourself. crazy CNN ... go figure. They are right there on audio actively attempting to make sure the fire is "fully engulfed". Bullshit. |

Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped So, from the press conference, I only gathered "we didn't purposely burn the cabin down" and "the body has not been confirmed to be Dorner yet." One as Snark and BossBitch have repeatedly brought up is a blatant lie. We all heard over the scanner law enforcement intentionally burned that m-f'er down. The other, the fact that the body hasn't been confirmed to be Dorner's yet we already knew. This press conference was a joke. Lies and information we already knew for the past day. I'd suggest the police departments take some more time to fabricate their story before the next press conference. |

Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped They ended the press conference prematurely because the sheriff was getting pissed off at the questions. Here is a picture of the line-up - how the conference was SUPPOSED to go. [link to www.flickr.com] One reporter challenged an officer when the officer claimed the cabin had been searched. The reporter said "we talked to people - they said nobody ever knocked on their doors". I think thats what did it. As they were walking away, someone shouted "Did you ever give him a chance to surrender?" They ignored the question, of course. |

Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped Since the prior discussion centered on the rights of Mr Dorner to due process, I'd like to suggest a similar situation in Alabama...the man who took the 5 yr old hostage into his bunker eventually stormed bye SWAT personnel and shot to death. Where was his due process, or is there a difference here? |

They are supposed to de escalate, negoitate and try to take the suspect alive (if possible). They negotiated with the fellow in the bunker for eight days. Dorner, not at all. |

Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped Does anyone have a direct link to Dorner's supposed facebook? What is striking me as strange (and obvious) is that there are all these "copies" of his supposed "manifesto" that was posted on facebook but no date. Facebook always dates stuff. Besides the supposed manifesto, (stating the obvious) there seems to be no evidence he did what they said, and who knows WHO wrote that, or that it EVER appeared on any facebook account. |

Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped Did anyone catch this: The carjacking victim that he told to "get out and walk...and take your dog" and "I don't want to hurt you"....stated this morning on MSM that he "Called a local deputy on his personal phone after the carjacking" (To notify authorities) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9243458 Because after I get carjacked by the most wanted/dangerous man in Amaerica, I don't dial 911....I instead casually call a deputy I know on his personal cell phone. Again....RIDICULOUS. Uh remember that $1,000,000 reward? He wants it...... Wow, there was a possibly prophetic post earlier saying they would make sure one of their own got it; and I heard this carjacking victim guy live on the radio last night saying he is a former LE officer, owns 647 acres off of Glass Road. Rick Heltebrake was never an LAPD cop. You heard wrong. If you did hear it, it would be in a written article or a video online. Please post your source. He has been a year round manager at Boy Scott Camp Tahquitz. If he does get the reward, he said he would split it with the couple who were tied up in their cabin by Dorner. Heltebrake will also use the reward to renovate the Boy Scout Camp. [link to belmontshore.patch.com] And GET THIS! The reward might not be given to anyone: "....it's too early in the investigation to determine whether anyone would deserve the award. LAPD Officer Alex Martinez says it's unlikely anyone can claim it because the reward referred to Dorner's capture and conviction." Update: Dorner May Have Died In Fiery Blaze, Or Escaped The whole story doesn't make sense. He supposedly wrote how he was going "off grid" and no one would be able to find him, and his version of this was STAYING IN ABANDONED VACATION HOMES? **THAT IS NOT OFF GRID THAT IS ON THE RUN** Taking your own car, and just driving then hiding is fear, not a plan. |
