If this is true this is just miserable. If my company has to raise wages (at the same time vendors are tightening their prices, then bad things happen. This will squeeze any opportunity in emerging markets.
Basically this will lead to more exporting of jobs.
Eventually I assume that minimum wage laws will be repealed entirely and people will work for $2 an hour.
