same with healthcare, employers will now have to give health coverage to anyone who works more than 30 hours, so there will be less full-timers and more part-timers at companies, so that company does not pay more out on pay-roll than it already is
Same will occur with 9$ hour minimum wage - less hours for people - too balance it out
If Obama thinks he can force the hand of company owner's to pay more to workers and give health insurance, when there is a pool of workers who will work regardless of weather or not they get 30 hours a week or 9$ an hour ...

They don't hire full time for a reason, so they don't have to pay for benefits like health insurance, holiday pay or pay unemployment insurance. In the short run, that hurts the part-time employees immediately, in the long run, it hurts the entire economy as a whole.
