Anonymous Coward User ID: 15737046 United States 02/13/2013 10:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what about the couple who owned that cabin. They are now left with nothing. All because a few street beat cops decide not to wait for a SWAT team. I hope that couple sues for hundreds of millions Quoting: mr_brightside74 The insurance company is getting a copy of 'the burn' police comm right now. More than likely in the fine print there is an exclusion to cover this one, war, terrorism, execution by cop, etc...! If the owner gave consent would insurance cover it ? Don't most only cover accidents? Arson, the police comm said to burn it down, using 7 burners? What incendiaries create green smoke tho? Oil. |

They just said it on the news Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24904482 I could see a drivers license surviving a fire if it is in a leather wallet. I left my license in my car on a hot summer day. It melted to the point where it had to be replaced. |

That's what I'm thinking, but the report of green smoke coming from the house? White/yellow phosphous M15 grenade reacting/burning something in the house? Maybe just a green tear gas/smoke grenade thrown in for good measure. 7 burners for sure tho. |

All because a few street beat cops decide not to wait for a SWAT team. I hope that couple sues for hundreds of millions Quoting: mr_brightside74 The swat teams arrived hours before the fire started from the tear gas canisters. They couldn't get him to come out of the cabin. Once they shot the canisters into the cabin, you could hear one gunshot come from inside the house. Did Dorner commit suicide? Remember...he said he would never be taken alive. If you listened in to live reports and scanners yesterday, the owner of the cabin was communicating with the authorities by telling them that the cabin was unoccupied at the time and...that is, no TV and phone connections were available. Before that, they were hoping that they could communicate with Dorner to ask him to surrender...as they have for the past 10 days...thinking Dorner was watching them on TV. From the information given by the owner, I assumed that the cabin was a rental, and he did not have renters at the time. I am sure the owner will get a new cabin and be compensated well for damages. In fact, once the fire started, he was telling the authorites that there was a propane tank on the property. I think he said it was 70 feet away from the house. I think your right.. burners = tear gas grenades I swear I was listening to scanners, live videos on the internet, CNN and MSNBC on TV. I didn't miss much. There was an expert on CNN or MSNBC who said, immediately once the fire started, that it was possible the tear gas canisters (burners) caused the fire. I heard the one gunshot, too, immediately after they fired the tear gas in. I say that Dorner committed suicide with that gunshot, and that he wasn't "burned alive." If he didn't commit suicide, he had every opportunity to exit the cabin. Again, he did not want to be taken alive or he would have surrendered. He had 10 days to do it. Instead, he killed a deputy yesterday who's wife just gave birth to their child. Isn't it ironic, though, that he killed three people who were not even members of the LAPD...the ones he was after. But the police know the Cabin had no Television. So they had a media black out because they didnt want US the PUBLIC seeing the police movements? When the media blackout ended the cabin was black smoke and they were reporting they had found Dorners body in the cabin and already removed it. Another conclusion to a big incident that doesn't make any sense. |
