Sovereign citizens: Is this an accurate portrayal?

and my understanding is the few that have tried the sovreign citizen stance in court do not understand the law or correct syntax and usually purger themselves.

Most law in ex british colonies, sorry guys, is based on Maritime law. Soveriegn citizens, freemen etc live by Common Law, this was laid down before Maritime Law came into being, most originating with Alfred pre 1000 AD, hence why he was called 'The Great'. However what i have found on my travels around the world of Freemen/soveriegn citizens is when you have fucked the establishment they try and pull a fast on and revert to 'Canon Law', now this is where it can get interesting as they are falling back to the bible.
