Early yesterday morning there was a fairly large eruption from the surface of the sun which hurled a cme in our general direction, this eruption was not shown on any of the models? If they updated the models we would all see that Mercury was headed this way?! At first I didn't believe it possible but then I studied the images from Stereo Behind HI1 and sure enough it does appear to be headed our general direction! As seen from the satellite Mercury should enter the frame from the left as it's orbit, according to models is in a anti-clockwise direction around the sun like all the planets, where in fact the object in the images is seen approaching the Earth from the right or clockwise direction? This is assuming of course that this is actually Mercury we are looking at?!! So, several questions to ponder. Are we looking at our demise, an illusion or something else? Just on the optical illusion theory, if you put yourself on Stereo Behind looking toward the sun Mercury should enter stage left but in these images the object enters from the right, you need to run all images from the 8th to get the perspective correct! Now look at Mercury, that's the orange one nearest the sun! It orbits around the sun passing Stereo Behind before heading towards Earth! Therefore, if this object is approaching from the right in Stereo Behind images it cannot be Mercury unless the model lies!!! Or! Mercury has changed direction?!
