The police said they identified him because they found his wallet ??? didnt they find that earlier near Mexico ? Seems to be the case: "After authorities interviewed the boat captain early Thursday, they found Dorner's wallet and identification cards "at the San Ysidro Point of Entry" near the U.S.-Mexico border. That same day, a guard at the Point Loma Naval Base told authorities he had spotted a man matching Dorner's description trying sneak onto the base, according to the court records." From a blog at the news place we can't mention, but quoting the LA Times. |

Even with his police badge in it. Usually, if you leave the police force you have to return it. One for their normal salary and one for the bribes? Who knows? If you think a thread is important enough for others to read, go to page one and click on the green pin!!! |

The police said they identified him because they found his wallet ??? didnt they find that earlier near Mexico ? Found this on google search... — 2:20 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 7: A shuttle bus driver turns in a wallet with an LAPD badge and a picture ID of Dorner to San Diego police. The wallet was found less than five miles from the boat, near San Diego International Airport. I find it hard to believe they found a drivers license in his wallet in the smoking rubble of the cabin. I have cleaned out my fireplace and found papers that didn't burn, but a fireplace isn't as hot as a house fire. The wallet found in San Diego may have been his police ID wallet. Small badge on one flap and ID on the other flap of the wallet. So he may have still had his normal wallet with DL, credit cards, and money on him. Police have to turn their badge and ID in when they are fired, so it is still very suspicious that someone found it. |
