are you aware that the U.S. government has formally admitted that the north vietnamese never attacked our ship in the gulf of tonkin, and that it was a deliberate lie in order to justify our invasion of vietnam? maybe not because it was not put on t.v. and only briefly mentioned in the paper. so, if the war was predicated on a lie then how would it have been un patriotic to avoid the draft?
