There was one man who had called in to a news station, not the owner of the cabin or her son. He said the cabin had a huge basement. Didn't mention any tunnel, though. This was during the shooting, so not sure if LAPD heard it or was told.

There was a newspaper reporter there in the middle of this yesterday afternoon, about 4:30 est. Several posts on the long thread from yesterday. That reporter can clear up some of the timeline, who was where and which place.
