If you like the outdoors and being active, there's only one state that has it all. |

If you want a state with low income tax, or best education system, or low crime rate, or great weather, or low cost of living, etc...BTW none of these are California, so cross that one off the list. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1368022 United States 02/13/2013 06:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's gotta be Arizona. Really no risk of natural disasters. The summers aren't the greatest, but if you have a pool you're good to go. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27250682 I left Arizona 3 years ago, I miss it bad. Move back (while you can). It will only get harder to do with each month that goes by. |

The summers aren't the greatest, but if you have a pool you're good to go. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27250682 I left Arizona 3 years ago, I miss it bad. I moved to Arizona from the Philly suburbs in '93 and felt I had died and gone to heaven. Still do. The summers are hot, but you find ways to cope. The rest of the year - never having to fight slush or freezing rain again - fabulous! Cost of living is good. There isn't a feeling of oppressive slavery as I've known in other places. And there is much varied, beautiful scenery within a short drive. Have found lasting friendships too. Suffered from Seasonal Affective Disorder (depression from sunlight deprivation) in PA. There is so much sunlight here it compeltely went away. Awake Dreamer (not a "Dreamer") |
