Min wage was not intended for families to live off of. Unless there is no other work. My Dad was a Journeyman wireman. He made 35.00 an hour back in late 60s early 70s. He had a stroke so I do not know from there. However , it was not uncommon for his take home pay to be 1000 or more per week. So 16.00 ... ok. right min wage was never for entire families to live off, and in reality most making it are in fact not supporting families. it's a liberal communist lie. |
