Sorry but these minimum wage jobs are for people just starting out or people who are too dumb to realize they need to do something about there life. Why should a business owner have to pay someone with no skills a higher wage to do a job that is not meant for someone with the ability to make something better of themselves. How did that person earn it? Do you seriously think $9.00 an hour is alot? Have you ever tried to live on that wage? It's pitiful and still below the poverty line. People are suffering! And the sad part is that even tho it's an improvement, it's not going to help all that much because it's still too low compared to the actual cost of living in this country. I can't believe some of you americans deny others the right to a living wage, or in this case not even that. Mind blowing! Try blaming the real issue of no jobs here, which is these fat cats corporate billionaires sending all our jobs overseas! That's the real problem, not the poor jerk making minimum wage and trying to honestly work for a living! No wonder so many turn to crime to pay the bills cause this is ridiculous and other americans don't even stand behind their own. Really makes me sick. We have 30% youth unemployment. How do we show our compassion? Let's raise the cost of hiring them! And I'm sure raising the cost of hiring people will make those evil corporations decide to bring jobs back from overseas.
