A reporter asked about personal belongings of Dorner's and they are now saying that the reports are preliminary and he didn't elaborate or say about the ID. Wow, anyone who can turn this on...please do.

Yep, but you know what..I think they learned from the Sandy Hook events that if they don't ask questions, other people WILL...so I guess they are deciding on doing their job for a change. I'm still blown away by how fast that was cut.

A story about corruption and cover ups turns into a story about corruption and cover ups....GROUND HOG DAY..

Seems like no one is on the same sheet of music - 10 different press conferences, 10 different answers.
The cops are starting to get agitated at the fact that the truth may come out.

While I don't agree with what Dorner did, perhaps he was telling the truth....

What did the reporters try to ask? Did they answer anything? What did the media say after?

From what I could tell, they asked around 3 questions. I tried to type out what I could but my daughter's sick and I had her sleeping in my lap at the time.

One asked if they could confirm that it was Dorner that was the crispy cabin critter. They could not, but that the suspect matched the description of Dorner and behaved in a manner in which Dorner previously behaved.

They essentially admitted to burning the house, though it was not intentional (they claim).

Another asked about whether they could confirm that there were any personal belongings of Dorner's at the cabin...and the guy did not confirm, just replied that there were some preliminary reports out there and I believe he alluded to that this means the information could change.

Someone else also asked if the cabin had been searched, and I believe whoever was standing at the podium said Thursday it had been searched, but then the reporter had mentioned talking to neighbors of the cabin. I wasn't paying close attention, but I think they had mentioned the neighbors saying the house may not have been searched at all and that's when they cut the questions.

I think that was it...it was really only 8 minutes long!

I somehow hopes this ends up with this movie ending:

-Turns out The Police ended up chasing LL Cool J to his rental cabin where he, and his gay lover, spend their 'special private time' together (not that there's anything wrong with that).

-Turns out Dorner really did make it to Mexico and in about 5 weeks from now, from some remote area in the Seychelles, he will manage to send MSM (and everyone else) a video/email/post with damning evidence to support all his claims.

Kinda reminds me of Shawshank R. in a way

Maybe if the ending to Shawshank was he died on that beach during a drone strike, all narrated by Morgan Freeman.

What a twist.
