"nothing" doesn't exist. so does that mean they believe (through observation) the universe is in perfect balance, where "you can't have nothing without everything". the golden ratio is visible proof of this

They worship their own egos and intellect, and believe they themselves are God.

Of course, notice how all and any mention of the real God infuriates them and causes them to go hysterics.

There are some very spiritual Atheists, maybe even more so than the religious nuts. An Atheist is a non-theist, meaning they don't believe in a deity.

Atheism is the rejection of a divine being. Not a rejection of religion and philosophy. I am a Buddhist, and I consider myself athiest. I believe infinite consciousness is the creation force, not a single divine being playing a harp in a cloud watching everyone.

Can you blame them? How ridiculous do the Christians sound that believe in a god noone has ever seen? They look for their savior outside of themselves and refuse to believe they can raise their own frequency to god's level AND commune with that consciousness. WE are ALL connected to the Source.

When you discover nothing in the world can be held on to, then you got faith in the universe, you trust it without any type of belief or conception. Needing a belief system implies you're doubting it in the first place.

Correction, only YOU haven't seen Him. Never experienced Him, thus you claim Him to not exist. Someone likes french dressing and I hate it, but am I right? Does it make them crazy? Besides, you'll never meet a 100% atheist. I dare you to find one.
1 Timothy 3:16 KJV
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Acts 2:38 KJV

Romans 8:6-9 KJV
6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Matthew 15:8-9 KJV

Once again, would Christ condone hostility and judgement upon others? Did he not command you to love your neighbors as yourself? You're the reason we are becoming a post-religious society. You radiate with an aura if arrogance and hypocrisy, and you use christanity to give you a form of self-righteousness. You need to stop pointing your finger, and start working on your own flaws and imperfections. Your destiny on this planet is to self-improve spiritually, not to make others do so.

Re: so, do atheist believe in "nothing"?
I'm agnostic and do not practice any religion, and I would argue that I have more spiritual awareness and basic human awareness than most of the religious people I know. Most of religion is centered around being connected to life, being a true person, and I believe I achieve that just as well if not better by just having a connection to humanity as a whole in place of religion. So I don't believe in "nothing", I believe in life, I believe in humanity, I believe in being as true as I can be and as good as I can be. You don't have to believe in an almighty power in order to be a good person, and when it really comes down to it, what's wrong with believing in whatever you want as long as you are a good person?
