Does God really care that the Pope resigned? Is his spirit REALLY on such men?

I cant speak for Him. But the catholic church (along with christianity in general) contradicts the doctrine of the prophets and law of Moses. So its doubtful that He cares for their success. They will be brought down just as all others will that do not do what is right.

God loves all of His creatures even pope rat-zinger who may or may not have been guilty of many many grievous and horrible things including various cover ups, God Delights not in torture but in Mercy, If Rat-zinger truly repented of His Sins (to Christ) God would forgive Him and receive Him

Highly doubt that will happen, Generally when someone gets to the "top position" as Rat-zinger did, it would be by stepping on others to get there

* He is still on the cross and Dead (which Christ is not)

* As a Helpless Baby or toddler (which Christ is not)

* As a destroyed Deity who is recreated and placed in a Mithra biscuit (which Christ is not)

Christ is The Superior High Priest acting on are behalf's in Heaven, which the Earthly Tabernacle was a copy of, He as the Better High Priest Uses His Superior Blood From His Superior Sacrifice, to Blot out your Repented Sins(Hebrews 9:11), The Counterfeit Priests on Earth do not have this power at all.

The only power they have: is to apologize to those who they have personally sinned against and like us to repent of it and to ask Christ for forgiveness.
