The hearing was scheduled for Thursday afternoon but was delayed to give forensics investigators time to do their work, the Associated Press reported. They would not have arrested him if they did not find compelling evidence at the scene. The fact that the state is asking for bail to be denied means the evidence against him is overwhelming. The police say it's not likely it was self-defense!! Doesn't seem like it was....Probably an argument. I hope it was an accident. A 4-time accident, she got shot 4 times. |

He thought she was a burglar, right. -- On February 14, 2013, Steenkamp was shot four times at the home of her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius. Pistorius was arrested and charged with her murder. Neighbors from Oscar Pistorious' gated community said they heard shouting and screaming from his home, they reported a shooting. A police spokesperson said they had been called to the house on previous occasions after reports of "a domestic nature". It is believed Steenkamp was shot four times; paramedics tried to revive her when police arrived. |

Unless they had separate rooms, he would have known it was her in the house coz she wasn't in bed. Either way, he would know she was there. Plus, if he could see the "burglar" well enough to shoot her four times, he could probably make out that it was his gf. They were fighting and she probably called him a cripple or invalid, you know hit him where it hurts the most and he just lost it. A crime of passion, but a crime nevertheless. Oscar is going to regret this day for the rest of his life and he is going to have a long time in jail to think about it. He threw his whole life away. |
