Christians use this reasoning all of the time.
Believing something "just in case" isn't going to save you if Christianity is real.
Are you really using this as a form of "witnessing" to the so called "sinners" of the world?
In revelation it says that it is better to be either hot or cold, lukewarm gets you vomited out of Jesus mouth. How do you know your way of thinking doesn't make you lukewarm?
That would put you in the hot seat.
