At the same time, they can be wrong, as we go on 'living' after death. I was speaking in the broadest sense. This is usually what people say when they have no Knowledge of a subject; that it is nothing more than "semantics". "Semantics" about the Doctrine of "resurrection" got tens of thousands of Albigensians and millions of Jews slaughtered over several hundred years of Christian anti-Semitism. If you don't understand the origin of what I am talking about, why not just say that you don't understand or you don't believe, rather than calling it "semantics"? If you say you don't believe it, fine by me. But, when you call it "semantics" you are merely magnifying your lack of Knowledge. Michael Michael, you have a lot of knowledge. Me on the other hand, I know that I know nothing. Knowledge is not something that a person has, because there is no 'spatiality of consciousness' to have it. Knowledge is observed. It is not a question of having Knowledge or not having Knowledge. It is a question of seeing or being blind. People can be taught how to see; but they cannot be taught how to have a Knowledge that cannot be had. It is like pouring boiling water into a bottle made of ice. Michael Did you know it takes imperfection to make ice freeze solid? If there is none it will not freeze. Can people be taught how to believe? If yes, show me how without doubt. If no, you can't be my angel Michael. Simply an angle. |

Home is a state of being that is actualy who you really are apart from the personality, physicality and altered ego. It is the greatest potential of who you are. And who eveyone is. So there is no question of wether one would want to go home or not. It is simply a truth. The ones who screw up to bad and refuse to correct, may just perish...and not go home. I know what you mean by home. This is what I love about GLP...so many different takes on things. I agree to disagree with you. You seem like a very compassionate being. You have reserved a place in heaven for the Elite. You want everyone to go home with you. See you there! I could not afford $10 a month if I wanted to. Not for this. the game of light before darkness; the game of life before death You are not scared therefore you may contemplate freely. Have you settled as to what all this means and what it all could be? But back to the currency thing; I just meant if you give me shit I'll give you shit. You hand me gold and I'll ask you where it came from, hold it and hand it back to you. I prefer grey clay to yellow. I do this as much for me as I do for you. You'd be surprised what the ego comes up with unchecked. I'm getting off work. I'll be back on later. You and I are very similar in some respects. Though, admittedly, I am changing away from being a dick when someone is a dick to me. It gets to be a waste of 'energy' after a while. |

What does that even mean? People can be pointed to the gaps in their understanding that cannot be made understandable by or to the consciousness of the 'thinker'. But they cannot be made to believe the Truth, even when the error is pointed out to them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34391377 The danger of over analyzing, and trying to overstand everything there is intellectually and with mind is that one disables their ability to actually experience it. I have found that in some cases it is good to over-analyze, then drop back and distill the information. Then, experience the distilled portion. After experiencing it, it is embedded, for lack of a better word. Knowledge is Wisdom without Experience That is still a very mental approach and due to seeming exciting can perpetuate indefinitely until you may get tired of it and let it all go. I do both. Don't feel like going into it though. Doesn't matter if you realize I do, or do not. It is what it is. "The danger of over analyzing, and trying to overstand everything there is intellectually and with mind is that one disables their ability to actually experience it." Very good point; a "trap" that I've fallen into in the past and struggle to not get into. Coming to an understanding of some of the most mind bending subjects out there has the effect of alienating you from the world around you. It makes it difficult to relate to the "normal" world and people. I have to keep my mouth shut when people start discussing deeper subjects because I end up either dominating the conversation or blowing peoples minds and killing the conversation completely. It's important to remember that it takes YEARS to wrap the mind around these things and that if someone spilled it all out to you early on your reaction would be the same. I came across information early on that I couldn't handle/accept or understand and discarded then later when I was ready understood and accepted. Everyone is at a different place in their "journey" so now I just encourage people to keep searching and tell them the answers are out there. And they are. Now I'm trying to wrap my mind around higher subjects like interdimensional physics, harmonics, energy/matter relationships and the dynamics of the 4-space energy field and our ability to maniputulate it. These aren't subjects you can discuss with the average person. A couple of things I'm working on understanding 1. A particle acts like a particle when you're watching it and like a wave when you're not. Why? Do our expectations influence the outcome? Is this why Ed Ledskalin couldn't/wouldn't let anyone see how he cut/moved the stones? Is this why when we catch a other dimensional entity transforming they get "discombobulated" (technical term I know) and can't seem to take any shape? This along with many other observations hint at a power we have that we don't understand yet exercise constantly. 2. Other dimensional entities are able to come into our dimension and form various solid objects. How are they forming what we call matter out of energy? How are they opening the door between dimensions? Is there a technological way for us to "see" into these other dimensional realms? 3. If you were able to make objects float with your mind and brought a group of people into the room to demonstrate your abilities and they didn't "believe" you could do it you would suddenly not be able to do it. Why? (no I can't make objects float with my mind..yet) Good thread though; sorry if I got off topic. |

Michael Michael, "belief" isn't required these days. There are facts that bridge the gap between science and religion now. I was never a believer but became a knower. Having the facts and knowledge is true freedom. Armed with the facts which is confirmed by the word of God makes your spiritual foundation so solid nothing and no one can break it. I'm not sure where it started but when I was 7 sitting in Catholic Sunday bible school in a little town called Albion, NY I remember the priest speaking with authority on the bible. Something prompted me too look for something in the bible he couldn't answer. I started in the front and came across Genisis 6:4 and asked him. His answer which I remember 35 years later like it was yesterday was "No one is really sure". That was the beginning of my questioning everything. Little did I know how finding the answer to that would take half my life and take me on the journey it has. |

I jumped out of the car never saw them again and didn't realize what happened to me at that moment until years later. Something was different though. |

I've never read any book like what I have experienced. There are no books that can 'teach' this. Nor debates that can prove/disprove it. It is. How did this experience affect your life? Was everything the same after as it was before? Can you relate to: "Before Enlightenment chop wood, carry water, after Enlightenment, chop wood, carry water." |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19932676 the true observer..such as buddha, christ, guru...is quiet and still ...unless you happen to find one, physically...and ask him a question. Otherwise he REMAINS quiet and still. ... not sure how 'relevent' my experiences are for anyone here...but.. from experience...not a book or an ego trip hypothetical dream.. #1- There is a consciousness which resides in the human body that IS NOT 'YOU'. It is a parasite, and it is self aware. It is what you THINK you are. 'you' use 'IT' in order to live a sort of drama. This parasite's abilities are vast and far reaching. The parasite is a thought maker, just as much as you are. It will introduce thoughts into your head..by the millions per day. In fact, most people have no original thought...they are simple reactors to the parasite which controls them by PROVOKING THEM to react negatively. All fear, all stress, all excitement, all stimulation, IS FROM YOUR REACTION TO THE PROVOCATIONS OF THE PARASITE. this parasite feeds off of your reactions. Your energy feeds 'it'. Very FEW recognize this separate entity...and do something independent from it. This is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. Up to this point, you are a slave to 'it'. At this point of making this distinction, ...you are at the first stage of AWARENESS. Once you realize that you are not 'it'...you become aware of #2 and you are in a postion to free yourself from #1. by the way, #1 is insane and can NEVER be made sane. ..although many will preach the exact opposite. #2 The second consciousness is you as a positive observer...it is absolutely positive. If you can maintain this state, you will BE EXPERIENCING 'NIRVANA'. Nirvana is real for I have lived in it for long periods...it is absolute bliss. This state cannot be found , nor experienced except through disciplined meditation...there is no other way...there are no books, there are no words that can teach this. Being in the #2 position, you are absolutely free from negativity and you have absolutely NO extraneous thought. Your mind is absolutely quiet!...without effort.. Your understandings are beyond words and you find it completely unimportant to relate your experience to others. The only 'problem' with the #2 state is that you are still bound by your reaction to perfection...you experience absolute beauty, perfection...you understand that there is no error , and the beauty of it is absolute...and you are ATTACHED to the beauty of it. I only experienced 'freedom' from the attachment to being in the #2 position for two brief periods ..both of these times were only minutes in duration. ...and those moments were 'terrifying' after returning to #2 and contemplating the experience. #3 is objective consciousness. It is the 'I AM' without feeling of any kind. There is no positive, there is no negative. It is absolute power. It is absolute creation. It is so 'STILL' that it is 'terrible'. It is NOTHING. it is the 'nothingness' that the buddha spoke of. It is the absolute realization that you ARE GOD. You have no identity. You do not 'experience' anything. You are the consciousness of energy. The first two of the above are 'you' until you realize that they are not 'you'. When you become free from all attachment through much dedication and devotion to 'what is'...then you find that you are merely the consciousness of energy having an experience...layers deep. I've never read any book like what I have experienced. There are no books that can 'teach' this. Nor debates that can prove/disprove it. It is. and.,.the symbols for #1 and #2 are the two snakes climbing the tree of caduceaus. ... (they try to climb the tree ...the tree of life...YOU, #3) now picture the symbol without the snakes...what do you see? a cross. Brilliant thread. Bliss indeed. Is it just being part of everything and being in the flow of existence after the illusion lost its appeal or do you create a purpose? Is there a purpose for you (generally everyone) to their physical experience? |
