Asteroid 'FlyBy' Tomorrow
Maybe this has been answered before and I haven't seen it, perhaps Astro can give his opinion.

This asteriod that will fly as close as 17,000 feet tomorrow, can't Earth's gravity pull it down?

Also, this is closer than commercial airlines fly. I'm sure the odds of hitting a plane/satellite are small, but still the danger is there. Are warnings being given?

Anyone know what part of the world it will pass at its closest?

I still don't feel too comfortable about this thing.

Anyone?

Ok, misread by me. It is 17,000 miles, which is a huge difference. But still, can't earths gravity pull it down?
