He joins a priesthood which forbids marriage, and that sexual repression has led to so much sexual abuse of children and then rather than hold these molesters accountable for their actions facilitating repentance, they transferred them to other parishes quietly to protect them from justice. Solomon in the Old Testament disobeyed God to the point it cost him his sanity for a few years. God I am sure forgave him, but Solomon suffered for his transgressions, and thereby learned from his mistakes. God held him accountable. The Catholic Popes do not respect Holy Scripture.
