Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28160348 I believe the early time is when it will start to become visible to us southern hemisphere guys, the observatory camera goes live in approx 10 hrs which I expect is when its going to be around its closest. I think slooh is just wrong or using a dif timezone. The standard timing should be in UTC time which seems to confuse a lot of people. I put approx times on first post |

Can we not see the smaller ones?? No. The meteor in Russia was traveling in a completely different direction. Not only did it hit a northern latitude, but it came from the direction of the sun which is why it wasn't seen beforehand. ![]() |
