Outside of the fact, that in this, and from what I've seen myself and I'm sure all of us have, the police cause more of a traffic hazard by pulling someone over and blocking lanes than she could have at 25 mph on the phone.

I've been cut off more times than I can count by people chit chatting and not paying attention so I'm not saying it's alright. But living in big American cities for over half my life I've seen so many parking enforcement *officers* stopping to write tickets with their vehicles causing major backups in the street. Just doesn't make sense.

I'm so damn tired of these bitter ex-high school nerds using their badges to get back at the world for all those years growing up getting picked on by football jocks. They're so mad about all the girls they didn't get to date and never being asked to the *cool* parties now they can get their REVENGE!

(I hang out with a cop every night because I work with police K-9's and our dogs get a great workout playtime and training session. The old school officers HATE the young geeks with attitudes and it's a normal topic of conversation, I promise you)
