You do realize how sadistic cats are don't you? Ever seen them torture a mouse? Not to mention toxoplasmosis gondii Perhaps you prefer mice on your food table, ever seen what they do? So what if they play with food? They are predators not prey, animals not humans. True. Still, I'd rather prefer them eat their mice right away and not play with them. The mice or rats obviously do suffer and feel pain. I watched a cat once play with a rat this way and do you know, it actually looked cute while doing this.
