There has been a great deal of research into the sea split reference. They've actually pin-pointed the area and gained permission to dive there. There were old chariot frames, wheels and more there. But none up/down from the area.

Thing is, you have to believe every word or none.

Now if your mind can only see a old fellow with a stick and a body of water before him, it may be hard to comprehend, yet when metaphors and meanings are considered, it becomes highly possible and believable, more so with today's known technology.

Thing is, none of you do as instructed, that was to question everything, hell most of you have no idea most words are several words combined, not saying you stupid, but we all know its true, most people dumber than a box of rocks. The rest simply blind.

whats does the old testament have to do with the new?
 Quoting: ~IS~

The old testament revealed the cause of paradise lost and human suffering under Satan's rival reign of terror. The new testament reveals Jehovah's solution;
"And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while." Rv20:1

"These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 That is why they are before the throne of God; and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread his tent over them. 16 They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down upon them nor any scorching heat, 17 because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” Rv7:14

Re: The Bibles miracles...did they really happen?
No.

The Romans had to mix Pagan religions with Christianity when they made it the official Roman religion.

They knew the Pagans wouldnt accept it unless it contained some necromancy (jesus and Lazarus rising from the dead), cannibalism (drinking blood and eating flesh) and more Pagan crap like virgins giving birth.

Most of it is bullshit, the only part that is important is Jesus' message of love and forgiveness.

 Quoting: ~IS~

"All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work"- 2 Timothy 3:16, 17

everything in the "Old Testament" is part of "All scripture"

the more important question is: What does the miracle at the Red Sea teach us about God? his ability to deliver his people, no matter how harsh their oppressors, and how he can vindicate his name in the face of haughty ones

You don't think these threads test everything God says, and every contidiction to him?

Yeah.... like that one where the guy said God didn't make turtles (which btw is STILL true). After the earth was formed there was a few parts left over, namely a small ugly face, some stubby NARLEY legs, and a hollow rock. God, not wasting nuthin stuffed 'em in a box and told the angels... "rig up something outta this here junk". After some attempt to juggle the junk around the angels stuffed the little face in one end and the legs here and there and HEY! They invented the first stinking tutle, turlet, tortat, turtle dang it!
I know stuff so don't ask.

Israeli archaeologists, very brave people because their own faith rests on the myth of moses, have found absolutely no evidence, not a shred that he ever existed as described. None.

Prof. Ze'ev Herzog

Professor of Archaeology - Tel Aviv University.

"This is what archaeologists have learned from their excavations in the Land of Israel: the Israelites were never in Egypt, did not wander in the desert, did not conquer the land in a military campaign and did not pass it on to the 12 tribes of Israel. Perhaps even harder to swallow is the fact that the united monarchy of David and Solomon, which is described by the Bible as a regional power, was at most a small tribal kingdom...... Most of those who are engaged in scientific work in the interlocking spheres of the Bible, archaeology and the history of the Jewish people - and who once went into the field looking for proof to corroborate the Bible story - now agree that the historic events relating to the stages of the Jewish people's emergence are radically different"

Strange as this may sound, my guess is the video is a fake because wheels 4,000 years back would likely be buried deep under sand. Never the less I do believe the Bible's account of Moses crossing the Red Sea, as a preview of Jehovah freeing his international spiritual nation from Satan's reign of terror,without the video. The film is inconclusive to me.

In one place in particular but you need an electron microscope to read it;
" I shall laud you because in a fear-inspiring way I am wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful,
As my soul is very well aware.
15 My bones were not hidden from you
When I was made in secret,
When I was woven in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw even the embryo of me,
And in your book all its parts were down in writing," Ps139:16

Repent ( change your thinking ) for we never know when we will be held accountable for what we say. Better to saved and give all glory for what we do not understand to God. Psalms 25 vs. 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honour of his Kings to reveal things
