Sandy Hook has a cafetorium, which is a room used both as a cafeteria and auditorium.

I assume that the cafetorium is the room which CNN has labeled as the "Multi-purpose room" in its diagram of the school. Note that CNN shows the gymnasium as being near the front of the school and the cafetorium/multipurpose room as being farther towards the back [link to i.cdn.turner.com]

This article gives me the impression that the cafetorium was near the main entrance, leading me to question the accuracy of the CNN diagram. In fact, in contrast to CNN, ABC shows the cafetorium as being at the front of the school. [link to abcnews.go.com]

(There were) two cafeteria workers who heard shots and dropped to the ground, crawling into a utility closet and locking themselves in until help arrived.

Question: Where did the "25 students or so students" who were in the cafetorium hide, if not in the same place as where the two cafeteria workers hid?

In any case, according to the Courant, there were, indeed, students in the cafetorium at the time of the shooting.
