I don't remember the media saying that Lanza killed anyone that was in hiding. I did hear that he killed 5 (or 6) kids that ESCAPED a hiding place in Soto's class to make a run for it. So, Ana being shot while hid is news to me.

BTW, does anyone know where this kitchen is supposed to be in the floor layout of the school? Anyone have a map that shows where the kitchen is?

yes.. washroom and kitchen are not exactly the same...

i didnt find a map of the school, many where use by media, but who could believe media.

i recently discover this school have cafetaria. with only 2 people hiding here.

Also, I thought that Rousseau, being a sub, didn't have a key to lock the door to her class. Would she have had time to hide any kids before the shooter came in? This could be new information from Ana's mother, but I just don't remember anything about Lanza looking for kids in Rousseau's room, finding them and shooting them.

Sandy Hook has a cafetorium, which is a room used both as a cafeteria and auditorium.

I assume that the cafetorium is the room which CNN has labeled as the "Multi-purpose room" in its diagram of the school. Note that CNN shows the gymnasium as being near the front of the school and the cafetorium/multipurpose room as being farther towards the back [link to i.cdn.turner.com]

Question: Where did the "25 students or so students" who were in the cafetorium hide, if not in the same place as where the two cafeteria workers hid?

In any case, according to the Courant, there were, indeed, students in the cafetorium at the time of the shooting.

Isn't the cafeteria the place to eat while the kitchen is the place where cooking is done? They are usually separate by doors and separation would be necessary if the "cafeteria" were a multi-purpose room.

You cannot shoot every kid at once. There would be serious screams. I heard no talk of massive screams.

Well, yes, but the kitchen would probably be a logical place to go hide if you happened to be in the cafeteria when somebody started firing a gun.

Having never been in that building, I don't know what other options those kids in the cafeteria would have had for hiding spaces. Maybe a nearby bathroom or an area backstage? Maybe they all just gathered in a corner?

The word, "victims", means dead or wounded, not people hiding.

As you can see, the cafeteria WAS near near the front doors after all. So, that makes this thread somewhat less important, as the police may have put the victims in there so they could march the live children out without them being traumatized by seeing a bunch of bodies.

Um, no. The police would not have moved any dead bodies prior to official forensics investigation by Medical examiners, etc. If there were LIVING victims, those would have been moved to Triage.

If there was any "Ginger Bread" houses being fabricated, a kitchen is generally too small for a class.

The bread would have already been cooked, or fabricated elsewhere and brought into the classroom.

Have been listening to your linked vid. At 22:00, someone seems to be repeating a license plate number. The individual recites it as:
seven six three Zulu Lima Juliet
seven six three Zee El Jay ... Lucifer.

I don't recall LUCIFER being used as part of the police (or even military) alphaneumeric code. It's either Lima or Lincoln. Why would that person end transmission with "Lucifer?"
