God sacrifices himself so that if you believe in him and do what it says in a book that was written by men you will be spared and satan will not get you. God can only save less than 35% of his creations. It doesnt matter how good of a person you are, if you dont believe in the holy book, you will burn in hell for eternity. Christians aren't idiots, just the majority of them don't know anything about the Bible.

When they go to church they listen to a preacher who reads a few verses and talks about stories for the rest of the hour. They don't learn this way.

Athiests are at about the same level of stupidity as christians. Athiests however do use some sort of critical thinking skills while christians just read a book written by men and are told god wrote it so they believe every letter within it...
