Turkish Forces Return Artillery Fire After Syrian Shell Hits Turkey
Turkey has struck Syrian army targets after a mortar shell hit a forested area in the southern Turkish province of Hatay.

Clashes erupted between pro-regime forces and opposition fighters in the town of Kasab in Syria's Latakia governorate and the mortar shell hit the Yaylada district of Hatay as a result of the clashes.

The mortar shell fell in a forested area -- one kilometer from the Kayapınar military base. Sources said the Turkish army immediately retaliated against the Syrian forces.

Perhaps the reason for today's shelling... Once again it seems like Syria might be trying to start things with Turkey.
