I think that every religion as its own stories of afterlife, heaven, reincarntion, whatever. Nobody knows what happens. I dont believe any particular religion is right or wrong. I believe in respecting eachother, respecting the world, and respecting your creator, if you have one. If not, that is your belief and I respect you for it. I hope that EVERYONE has someplace special in the afterlife. I believe that everyone can be forgiven. Who knows, maybe we keep coming back to better ourselves with reincarnation. How do you think anyone 'knows' anything at all? Do you even think you can know something for sure? The atheist worldview doesnt allow for this. |

He offers a lot more help than the two acts you point out. As a matter of fact, even though you profess to not believe, I would wager anything that God has "helped" you in more ways than you could possibly imagine. Some may be very subtle, others impossible to ignore. If you were being honest, I would believe that you could think of some. God has given us a choice... Believe...profess...and work = Eternal life Not believe...not profess...and it doesn't matter what your works are = Eternal damnation. Seems pretty simple to me...I for one am glad he didn't overcomplicate it. I'm a long ways from being a "sheep". But whatever...believe what you want. No one is going to force you to believe anything. Also, if you really want to have a discussion about something, try using less juvenile language in the future. So because my thoughts dont align with the book he had men write down on paper he isnt going to save my eternal soul? If you want to talk science, just look for proof of a primordial soup or big bang first. Process of elimination will lead you to the Bible. |
