What did St. Malachi’s say about Pope Benedict XVI's Resignation
Why the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI is so controversial. Firstly, there hasn’t been a pontiff resignation in nearly 600 years. Secondly, this may have been predicted. The following is a small list of prophecies and predictions pertaining to Rome. One thing to keep in mind a few of these actually mentioned the year 2012, Pope Benedict did make his choice to resign in the year 2012, but was only announced recently.
• William Reid, a Presbyterian minister, who lived in the 19th century In his book, ”Lectures on the Revelation” Reid predicted that there would be significant changes in Rome in 2012.
• Jonathan Edwards was a Christian preacher and theologian 350 years ago he wrote that the papal system would come to an end in 2012
• Rene Thibaut (1883 – 1952). a Belgian Jesuit In his book Mysterieuse Prophetie des Papes, (1951) predicted what seemed to be “2012 and the Judgment of God.”
• There's a prophecy from the ancient Book of Zohar that predicts a meteor shower hailing down on Rome in the Jewish year 5773, which corresponds to the 2012-2013 period.
• St. Malachi predicted in 1139 AD that they would be 112 more popes. The next Pope will be the 112th Pope since his prediction.
• Nostradamus has a quatrain that could be interpreted to mean that a young black (red) Cardinal will seize the papacy.
• St. Malachi’s motto for the 112th Pope is Peter the Roman, Nostradamus says young black Cardinal. Cardinal Peter, Turkson is a black Cardinal from Ghana and a leading candidate for Pope.

St. Malachi’s (also spelled Malachy) prediction is the most interesting. The thing about his prediction is that he gave each Pope a motto or a clue, to connect each Pope to each of his predictions. An example Pope Benedict XVI was given the motto Gloria Olivae (The Glory of the Olive). Saint Benedict’s order is known also as the Olivetans. The 112th prophecy says, "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman), who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people
The seven Hills city closely resembles book of Revelation chapter 17 and the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (May reference the end of Rome)And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (The woman they speak has dominion over the earth and the seven mountains may reference the seven Hills city of Rome)
Recently, the Vatican has made arrangements with the Israeli government to have the right to use The Hall of the Last Supper in the city of Jerusalem . Could this be where the Vatican will be relocated after it’s destroyed?

Most facts are derived from an interview no name had with Chris Putnam on Coast-to-Coast a.m. 11 Feb 2013.

Mayan calendar end of days, tribulation has been put to bed. Now it's time to to watch the outcome of Rome in the Vatican.

if the Pope is not black it may put to rest Nostradamus's prediction.

If we have 113th Pope. It will put to rest, St. Malachi's prediction.

if a meteor shower does not bring down on Rome between now and September, it will put to rest the Book of Zohar prediction.

Too Many multi-century actions, records, and events happening to be coincidence... I have a bad feeling about this year.

As zany as this sounds... some suggest 2013 is really the 2012 talked about so much.

Begs the question... at the sater of calendar counting was there a year 'zero' or did it start at year 'one'?

Pondering..
