America failed bc it is a global market (along w greedy bank lenders and all that credit that wasn't backed up w real money). That being said it IS a global economy. Canada or any other country on this globe - hence the global economy is therefore in trouble. It is a trickle down effect of a global economy. Sorry Charlie. Now possibly if you move Canada to another planet then you would be safe
