Re: What is love?
A mutual connection of physical and reinforced by mental feelings of attraction. My words my first-hand experience on it. It can be broken when separated as a magnetic pull is by distance and time.

Re: What is love?
that is a multi-faceted question, and one of the most misunderstood by modern society.

Originally love was used to create all life, those who represent the highest order of the kingdom, are said to symbolize self-less love, this is the highest order of God, hence those said to walk with God, are of selfless love.

Most love today is marketed as selfish love, this has been the beginning of the fall of man, hence the fall of ascended consciousness on planet earth.

I can go on for pages, but that is the purest form of love..

Re: What is love?
A jumbled mess of emotions working together in harmony to play a persons heart like a musical instrument to form a beautiful symphony of emotions we call Love.

It's knowing your life is infinitely better with the object of affection "Love" then with out. And the mere thought of living this life without them leaves a deep fear and pain that reaches your very soul. It's all these things and more, because Love is pretty much all of it.

Let your life be the proof your Love.

Re: What is love?
Love is feeling, an immense satisfaction to be with someone.

Love is when you finish each others sentences.

Love is stepping up when one of you are sick to take care of the other.

Love is loving regardless of race, color or creed.

Love it the only way to save our plant. Please eliminate the negative forces you might have in your life. Stay close to positive people & by all means if you feel stressed take a break.

Re: What is love?
So frustrating when you ask for peoples opinion about a vague topic that means so many different things to different people and get equally vague answers. Like they dont want to be "wrong".

Folks there is no right or wrong answer here... I am interested in the varying responses so I can ahve a better understanding of the differences in people. I dont want the "real" answer because there is none. It means different things to different people.

Dont over intellectualize this very simple question.

What does love mean to you?

I can describe a color. Its not an exact description that would be understood 100% of the time to 100% of the people i explain it to. But a small percentage might get it.

Like any explanation of anything worth explaining. Not everyone will get it the way you meant it. Does that mean we should all just stop talking?

Perhaps... but that isnt going to happen and thats a completely different conversation. Back on topic... quit being prententious and holier than thou... open up anonymously ffs. why bother saying anything? just to show how much deeper than me you are?

This was me, I guess I'll answer you properly.

Love is simply, the recognition of another individual whom you actually care more about than yourself.

Being in love is an extension of that, but generally one doesn't have the maturity and perspective to recognize it for what it really is until you've done it a few times. Being in love in the romantic sense takes a little trial and error to separate it from less profound loves. That is something rarer, where your personalities and personal attractions compliment each others' needs and wants in a way nobody else can.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
New International Version (NIV)

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
