just because they call it "space" does not mean to imply that it is empty "space"

oh, and did I mention that the earth (which we are all on) happens to be flying through "space" at high speed?

some localized meteor radar links..

listen to NASA's forward scatter meteor radar system at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL:

Intro: The following plots show the location of meteor shower radiants as detected in near real-time by the MEO-sponsored multi-station Canadian Meteor Orbit Radar (CMOR). Each day approximately 4000-5000 individual meteoroid orbits are measured by CMOR...

Slow fireball fission explosion could be taken 4:01 minutes and 35 seconds on the 14th. I could not be automated analysis halfway. I was determined to equal-3. I think that is about 8 - etc.. The duration was 6.8 seconds, etc. - 7.

[liveleak] [link to www.liveleak.com]

An object fell from the sky over central Cuba on Thursday night and turned into a fireball "bigger than the sun" before it exploded, a Cuban TV channel reported Friday, citing eyewitnesses.

Some residents in the central province of Cienfuegos were quoted as saying that at around 8 p.m. local time Thursday (0100 GMT Friday) they saw a bright spot in the sky comparable to a bus in size, China's Xinhua news agency reported citing the Cuban TV station.

The object then turned into a fireball "bigger than the sun," said the witnesses, adding that several minutes later they heard a loud explosion.

Last year, NASA called the fireballs in February, February Fireballs. They claimed it was fireball season. After February passed, and the fireballs didn't; NASA called them Spring Fireballs. Well, we know it went beyond Spring! NASA was silent.
