just wondering.
it came down over populated area

one may think 20 times the hiroshima bomb would have a bit more impact.

It all happened in brad daylight too, I don't know how it didn't have an effect on the people.

Today is a gift, that is why it is called "The Present"

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”

Yeah, all those reported injuries?

The fact that you can't get an accurate death toll from Russia, even now?

The fact that Hiroshima was a major populated city, and that part of Russia is a peasant-speckled wasteland?

The fact that the energy released by a meteor impact was not specifically directed and designed to kill things in the most efficient possible manner?

At least give it a day. The Iron Curtain may have thinned, but it's hardly gone.

Some Russians reported a warm wind on their faces after it so there was heat but because it was 20k's above a remote area is why no one died.

Maybe that 500 kt was the energy equivalent released during the whole flight of the meteor.

Re: Russias meteor had a blast equal to 500 kilotons. 20 times hiroshima. still noone died. how does that work?
The same I calculated & posted in another thread ..

500kilotons TNT .

the fact it did not dammage extensively was the angle it entered and the speed ..

calculated diameter 10 meters , weight , 40 tons
speed of entry 33K miles per HR , angle 5 degrees
in orbital decay path from the south east ....

MORE objects to follow , Iron , nickel black body composition RADAR & light absorbing black dusty surface.

near untraceable , fear the mile long 1/4 mile wide within the BLACK pearl string ..

If that one hits its back to the stone age ...(PRAY!)
