Regardless of whether or not he ate meat,you can agree that livestock was handled very differently.
Chickens still saw the light of day and cows could still carry their own weight etc etc..
As someone who lives in a country where we treat our sustenance with such brutality, I for one will take no part in such practices. Shouldn't we stop and ask ourselves if we are still partaking of Gods gifts? Man has turned so many of those gifts into coal and we shovel it down without a thought.

He would have eaten meat AT LEAST once a year on Passover, even if He refrained otherwise, but there is no suggestion at all that He was a vegetarian except for Passover.
