Of course the program is already financially insolvent. His goal was never to provide free universal healthcare. His goal was:

1) spend recklessly to destroy capitalist economic model
2) gain god-like control over lives (I'LL decide who lives/dies)
3) Create stick/carrot scenario to force compliance with micro-chipping (no chippy, no healthcare access).
4) provide gov't with "one-stop" info on every person. You think that healthcare info is all that is going to be placed in that chip? They'll combine all gov't dababase info in that chip so no matter what agency you're dealing with, they scan and know all.

I wouldn't give O-care too much thought, as when the economy collapses it will not be viable anyway. Given the economic collapse IS coming (there is no chance of avoiding it), along with war, chaos, etc., you have a small window of time to prepare for these realities. Obtain books, medications, first aid supplies, etc. NOW. Because post-collapse, there will be some sort of health system and even if you agreed to be chipped, there is no guarantee even then that you would be granted healthcare services. You may be deemed "not worth the expense". The death panels that Sarah Palin was skewered for warning everyone about.

Much like the 1/1 tax increase that hit every American and shocked liberals (I thought taxes were only going up for rich people!), the realities of what Ocommie has in store for them will hit them in the face, as well.
