This "Obamacare tax" or penalty, or whatever, is a paper tiger. No teeth. Failure to pay the penalty doesn't result in garnishment, liens, or levies. They can't go after your wages, property, bank accounts. If you ignore the penalty you will get a strongly worded letter. I suggest setting aside a special corner of the recycle bin for those strongly worded letters.
