Ok. So, is there a way to offload the excess humanity that will absolutely choke out all other life if not left unchecked? A stargate or portal to another planet? Because, I can tell you right now that the goal of the world is NOT to fill her up the rim.

Humanity is already filling the bucket pretty fast. The brim is near but it will not be reached. Luckily the bucket curves upwards so there will be temporary solutions to this problem which allow the population to increase to atleast 20 billion. Earth will recover for a greater part 20 years after 'the event'.
