this has encouraged me to contact my local sheriff and figure out where he stands. I am just as concerned as everybody else, btw I do not own guns. but I do so under the knowledge that my neighbors and friends and possibly strangers across the block do own guns and would protect me.

the very idea of doing this infringes on our RIGHTS not privileges and the public works serve us. we don't serve them. I encourage everybody to at least shoot an e-mail or phone call and inquire on their stance.
