ok, good to see this, Fred. also, another of the folks on that board had noted "meteor, or space junk" for one of the very strong passes, so i guess this shows that the regulars do not think these are mere artifacts of solar wind or UV energy ionizing the particles... ??

And we saw much bigger ones on Saterday, strange. You would think they watch much more now since that russian impact and all the other sightings in the world. But maybe they had all a busy weekend.

Eos, look at this long trace of Tamworth.

Those stripes could be the anomalies we seeing on the 3D graph, they seem quite regular.

Ok there is one showing up now on the Tamworth 3d scan.

It seems now the anomaly happens every 9 minutes or so on that Tamworth graph 2D and 3D.

Nice video. As I mentioned yesterday , that flare (it was according to spaceweather.com not a CME) started at 12.10 UT (as recorded in Colorado),I started watching 10:10 UT and saw a lot happening between that period. Don't forget, those particals mostly concentrate around the poles, that's why you see also those nice aurora's. Also that radioburst was much higher in frequency ( 10cm VS 2.1 m) If it was a disturbance I think it only would generate a little more noise, not those peaks we were seeing. The Tamworth graph I still don't know what's happening there. Maybe this one is more sencetive or it needs calibration.

Thread: Green 'Space' Slime Baffles Nature Experts
 Quoting: la'brat

thanks Lab Rat :) ...there was a story about a month ago on yahoo news that a young woman and her mother found some glistening slime in an Arizona desert, which was purple in color, and there were the same speculations--that it might be astral jelly or dissolved gel beads, although odd to think someone would empty those in the middle of nowhere...hahah.

and the lady in Somerset who photographed what certainly appears to be a meteor? i can relate--i managed to film a minute or two of what seemed to be a meteor on the [15th], just an hour ahead of closest pass of DA14. It was actually the second one i saw, but i was clumsy with my phone. Finally i got a couple of still shots of the first one, just as it sunk to the horizon. When the next one appeared, again i thought it might be four or five military jets in close formation, although only at an airshow would one see such a fierce and steep ascent in formation of four/five. I live in a military area, so i expect to see such things, although what i observed did not match the behavior--their was no splitting off of jets and the arc was very long, and ultimately very slow. I filmed for almost two minutes, with about 7-10 seconds of very good quality.

I posted to youtube, but there were no other reports in my area, so i did not seek any expert analysis.

Frankly, i don't think most people would see anything out of the ordinary until it is almost upon them.

Eos, yeah I saw that video of that slime, there was quite a lot too. Also checked that website then, where they sell those beans, looked the same to me, but like you said, very strange to find them in the dessert.

When I checked the Meteor Detection Grid this morning, the Tamworth grap shows some weird pictures. It goes on for several minutes now.

i suppose he was invited to respond since "Dr. Astro" seems to be the self-appointed resident "expert," although he says he is only an amateur himself, but he is rational and reasonable enough.

however, other than continuing to defend his position that DA14 was *not* related to the blast in the Urals, he has not responded to my message nor the public invite to him i extended in another thread where he was active this morning.

as someone said here already, "data is your friend" so yes the internet is all we have, but it is also a party line to the world, and is thus full of more flux than all the noise in the heavens.

Eos, I believe I read something about that Sumerset one, also the Sheddar one is located there.

Look what that graph shows now.

[link to i1274.photobucket.com]

Also I saw a Youtube just like what you were discribing, about those flying in formation, don't know if it was yours.
Yeah, I believe in Ufo's saw one myself about 3,5 years ago.
Was also a very weird experience. I was watching in the summer of 2009 together with my 13 year old neigbourboy the stars with a cheap telescoop. At one time I was smoking a sigaret and noticed between our houses a light moving trough the sky. Just as I told the boy that this was probably a satelite it stopped and started shining very bright and it was almost as if someone was pointing a very bright flaslight in my face, this was only for a few seconds then it started moving again and with high speed an rectangular movements out of sight. We were both shocked of wat we saw and the boy almost shit his pants of fear.
