I would have to disagree.. while the human race has always had use for violence (hunting/war for resources/religion) it hasnt always been a victim of violent "culture" .. no in this instant gratification society where everything is viral in minutes.. we CRAVE violence and sex.. its intertwoven into everything.. I was watching "The Walking Dead" and after watching two season, i couldnt believe the amount of violence in that show. (Especially where kid shoots mother in the head.. WOW thats messed up to show on tv) It started to make me truly realize how much violence plays a roll in society.. Games for kids, simulated violence as play, movies that sell the idea of death for a cause and noble purpose... music glorifies murder and materialism leading to violence..

we truly ARE a culture of violence.. we should be MORE educated.. we should TALK and THINK MORE - it seems we are doing it less and less these days in all honesty..
