They'll just be codifying into law something that's been taboo for a long time: thinking.

Apparently you have never done any research. I suggest that you do so and enlighten yourself.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23657849

Now that's weighty, lightweight. You are your own worst enemy. LOL.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34046798

And you think that this is all funny? I find that interesting.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23657849

The "funny" was not the point at all...it's where you chopped off the rest of it. That is what I was addressing, but I'm quite finished where you're concerned.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34046798

What I found funny is how as an anonymous coward you were able to change your quote. Nice shillery. byekitty

Here we have a prime example of a self classified 'sovereign citizen', replete with poor grammar, misuse of punctuation and a litany of otherwise telltale trademarks, common amongst the government hating, no idea what they're talking about -conspiracy morons.
To firstly have a valid opinion, and a firm grasp on your primary language might actually help someone take you seriously. Although, this is not likely. I come here for the laughs, and am rarely let down. Thank you GLPers for reinforcing stereotypes, and keeping the stupidity at a maximum.

Re: government ban on “conspiracy theorizing.”
I was told by the FBI to do this kind of research and forward them whatever I found out. So I wouldn't worry that much. What you will get in trouble for is if your intention is to overthrow the government. However, if it's to protect the public from terrorists be they foreign or domestic, we can go ahead. That doesn't rule out white collar criminals either. People who are way up the food chain or wealthy people are still fair game. Anybody can be a terrorist. It's more dangerous for us than the FBI. We don't know if and when there is Mafia involvement. But we have to do it because we know what will happen to us anyway if we stop researching. We could very well end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, just like the 3000 Americans did on 9/11.

Being free is terrorism. I am a indigenous native, nothing more. A sovereign is still a UCC label for one that has matured away from self bondage. This all stems from the neanderthal concept of humans owning land, No one owns the Earth so they need to stop acting like it. My rights are inherit by birth, If you have rights, you are not free. Stop admitting to your legal fiction signature.

Whenever I see that word "masses" I think to myself, "Who does that?" Who thinks of large amounts of individual people as a homogenous "blob", as you say. The use of this word is often a tipoff that the speaker or writer considers him-/herself to be distinct from and above humans. Hmmmm.

Such “cognitive infiltration,” Sunstein argued, should be used to enforce a U.S. government ban on “conspiracy theorizing.” Among the beliefs Sunstein classified as a “conspiracy theory” is that global-warming advocacy is a fraud.

The FBI defines “sovereign citizens” as “anti-government extremists who believe that even though they physically reside in this country, they are separate or ‘sovereign’ from the United States.”

The law enforcement agency noted such citizens believe they don’t have to answer to any government authority, including courts, taxing entities, motor vehicle departments or police.

The FBI warned that sovereign citizens commit murder and physical assault; threaten judges, law enforcement professionals and government personnel; impersonate police officers and diplomats; and engineer various white-collar scams, including mortgage fraud and so-called “redemption” schemes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23068722

First they dehumanize and denationalize them by painting them as a separate, anti-American entity, then they demonize them with their claims of most of them being violent criminals and a threat. I guess we see who will be next to be targeted by the feds, standing by for next Waco massacre. If there ever is any law against conspiracy or corruption theories you can bet Ob will be the president to instate it.

While I do govern myself I am not a "sovereign citizen." It is true that the government is nothing more than a conjuring of the imagination, I associate myself with no group that was probably conjured up by the forces of fantasy in an effort to discredit their own make believe organization.

Oddly enough their own conjuring only serves to give publicity to the idea that people are sovereign. What's that phrase? "No such thing as bad publicity."

True I don't generally do what I'm told, but the other day the TV told me to "keep talking" and I thought that was great because I wanna do that anyway :)

You see someone that recognizes that individuals are sovereign would not go about suing or threatening others because then they'd be attempting to govern the other's live, taking sovereignty away from the other which is the opposite of what a sovereign individual believes.

We are all self governing individuals. Threatening others or trying to force your own rules upon others is an attack upon their sovereignty. If you want to be sovereign why take away the sovereignty of others?
