Massachusetts Education Policy Mandates Allowing Boys in Girls’ Restrooms

My children are minors, not adults, I make decisions for them when it comes to many different things. I tell them how late they can stay out, who they can spend time with, and I will not allow my daughter to hang out in a locker room where young men are getting undressed or what have you. It is a recipe for disaster, for the girls and boys.

In all honesty. I feel bad for your daughter. She's going to end up hating you, or becoming a shut in if you don't back off. Let them be them. No need to treat them like a pet. That's why we have pets. However, you're entitled to your own parenting methods.

This is about making an entire group of kids extremely uncomfortable because one single person claims to have an issue.

You're putting the good of one person above dozens if not hundreds of others. You're discounting the discomfort of dozens of people and coddling one single person over his/her discomfort.

I just wandered into my daughters bedroom a few minutes ago to ask her how she'd feel about a fully developed 16 yr old boy dropping his drawers in the locker-room in front of her. Her response wasn't kind. She wants no part of it, it would be of extreme discomfort to her. She shouldn't have to disrobe in front of a male simply because he claims to have a disorder while still having the same anatomy as the rest of the young men in another locker-room..where he belongs, where he should be getting undressed. I don't care how he may feel inside, that's an issue for a therapist.

If he has a penis he's a boy. Until it's chopped off he belongs in a restroom and a locker-room for those of the same gender. Same with the girls.

Not a surprising response coming from a liberal that thinks mutual masturbation and child sexualization should be a part of every curriculum.

My daughter is happy and well adjusted. Like most children she has a curfew..oh good god that is horrible!

It's pathetic that you think a childs life is terrible if their parent doesn't want them getting undressed in front of kids of the opposite sex. My daughter chimed in on this, she's in agreement. She's a developed young lady that doesn't want to show her body off to young men in a locker-room. That's modesty and self respect for ya, shame on me for teaching her that.

Unfortunately, things will not change. The door to this invasion of the moral breakdown of our society has been open awhile ago. It appears that people today, within and without the church, no longer recognize any binding religious or moral authority.

I'm 38 yrs old and I can tell you now I would not want to change in a locker room full of men. I'm a modest person with men I'm not intimate with, it's the way I've always been. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be forced to expose myself to a bunch of horny young boys.

CT and CA already passed gender equality laws a couple years ago. Any other states?

Eliminating the need for peepholes and child/adolescent curiosity when you're got a front row seat during a very sensitive time in a minor's life.

My children aren't running around all hours of the night, they aren't doing drugs, drinking, I know where they are at all times. Dare I say..my daughter is still a virgin. She respects herself and her body.

My daughter, since you mentioned it, didn't come home several times when ASKED, that is why she is now told, and she's only been told once, what her curfew is.

What I am saying is i don't give a fuck. My kid is normal and doesn't want to have other kids of the opposite sex in the bathroom with them. End of story. Liberals are so worried about the standing up for the people they fell sorry for that they choose to punish the kids that are normal. It's like it is punishment for not having a handicap. Stable children get completely ignored and even discriminated against.

I'm serious when I'm saying that I'm not trying to be insulting through this, but if your children don't listen to you, then you're doing something wrong. They should respect you enough to know that the parents word is law, without being told as such. Maybe sh'ell learn it one day. I guess i just had a different moral standing as a child, But i never did any of that. Neither did my siblings, cousins, or friends. I guess I'm wrong here, children can't be trusted. How could i have been so foolish.

Or, maybe, just maybe, i picked the right group of friends, my siblings weren't corrupted, and i knew respecting my parents was more important then spending an extra 10 mins with my friends when i was told to be home.
