Here's some additional information (that if correct), may offer additional (linkage) on this situation:

Within the past hour or so (on TruNews' Monday broadcast), Rick claims that on Friday morning, he received an email from a Russian Orthodox Priest.

The man said (in the email) the following (paraphrasing):

"Rick, the main area and city of the "impact" zone in the Urals...that caused so much damage and injuries to so many people (indeed thousands of buildings alone damaged and hundreds injured) - was AT THE CENTER OF WHERE -RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS AND MISSILE EXPERTS HAVE BEEN HELPING THE NORTH KOREANS DEVELOP THEIR R-27 ICBM'S."

It's a speck of dirt stuck on the car windscreen that appears to catch up with the image of the meteor in the line of sight of the camera, then moves away again as the angle of the flight path of the meteorite relative to the camera changes due to the car changing direction to follow the meteor trail. The change in direction of the sunlight hitting the windscreen causes the speck (which was dark because it was momentarily blocking the sun's light) to vanish because some of the light reflected off the windscreen glass instead of passing through it.

It's interesting how many Russians have dashcams. Do people do that here, besides cops?

Maybe I've seen too many hoaxes lately, but I thought the Russian meteor fell into that category, because the explosion did not match what I saw streaking through the sky. But after seeing this, I now have to give it another look, and I hope you do, too!

Please weigh in on whether or not this is the real thing. The answer - if it's "yes," will be important to our future. Because if tptb were trying to float the "aliens are our friends" meme, they would have mentioned this on the six o'clock news, imo:

"RUSSIAN METEOR UFO STRIKE !!! WOW !!!"

Couldn't it be possible some military fired a missile at the meteor? I'm certainly no expert, but wouldn't that be the most logical possibility?

The media shows a huge hole in the ice of a frozen lake where they claim the remains of the meteor crashed. However, divers who entered the lake say there is NO meteor debris there at all! So, what made that round hole??

'American aerospace executive Dr Carol Rosin worked in the 1970s with Dr Wernher von Braun, the German rocket scientist I mentioned earlier, who was employed by NASA after the Second World War.

She said that he told her when he knew he was dying of cancer that there was a plan to introduce a series of fake enemies to justify the weaponisation of space (and a lot more, in truth).

They would be, in order: the Soviet Union; terrorists; Third World country 'crazies' - 'countries of concern' in current parlance; asteroids; and the last one would be a threat of an 'alien' invasion. Von Braun told her not to believe any of this when it happened because it would all be a lie and a hoax.'

Maybe it was something else. Knowing about Project Bluebeam, and the shiat our government pulls DAY IN AND DAY OUT, I would not be surprised if this was not what the news says it is. But it kinda does look like what a meteor is supposed to look like. And I don't think a hologram would cast that kind of brilliant light on the ground, as was seen with this one...

Which makes me wonder: Why aren't there pictures from other vantage points? It just seems to come out of nowhere. For all you space junkies out there, is this normal for a meteor, from what you know?

Re: RUSSIAN METEOR DESTROYED BY UFO - Hits It DEAD-ON, then SPEEDS PAST IT!!
In the following clip (cool clip BTW, the whole thing) you can see a Russian Anti-Ballistic Missile test. Its not sped up (check other videos, the missile really does move that fast, very high technology mini-nuke warhead). Anyway, the final stage impact does look a little similar to this.

But! Complications. The missile travels in the vid for 8 seconds at max average speed below mach 3.5, so that intercept was under 10km altitude. These explosions were at 25km altitude (89s delay in report). Still possible because the test looks like a minimum range (ie. test range) affair. The range though, looks too far to be a hit from any of the known bases - missile range is 80-100 km. But still possible if the launcher was in the right place.

Maybe they have better ABMs and used them, these are the ones they declare they have. N.B. Russian military did originally claim to shoot it down, that might be a coverup, - they didn't press it, the coverup may not have been needed. But they are also smart, they don't advertise the capability of their ABM system. Note the system is not supposed to cover Chelyabinsk, meant to be over Moscow. But! Sary Shagan test range is nearby, south east, on the trajectoryish -its possible, just! I think a conventional impactor could do the job on a 15m chondrite.

This is what I thought also, if you watch the original video without the zoomed in highlight shit you can see it is either a scratch that reflects the light through the windshield or some other substance on the windshield. It just appears to move through the meteor.
Then again, it is very coincidental that it appears to travel RIGHT through the meteor, and that it appears to break apart RIGHT after it "goes through". Quite a few coincidences if it is something with the windshield.

If you watch this one in 1080p you can clearly see the anomaly in question, and also how it might be thought to be something on the windshield.
The best version of the video i've seen.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22210611

Here's the thing: When you look at around 12 seconds on the video you posted, and then look at the close-up of the "terminator" hit, they seem like they come from the same event.

Also, to me, you can tell that it's not the windshield causing those little "sparks" to go shooting out in different directions when the object is hit. If it was the windshield making the effect, it would refract the light like that at other times, and it doesn't, from what I can see.

The meteor was struck by a Rail Gun Kinetic Projectile.

They shot it so that it would break apart.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15740069

Wrong. The speed of the 'projectile' relative to the meteor is too slow for the kinetic energy to explode it like that.

Must be something else, because the object did explode after that smaller thing hit it. Not kinetic - something else.

The original comes from someone named "DanielofDoriaa." Here's part two. You gotta ask yourself, though: If a UFO could take out a meteor going however many thousands of miles an hour like that, why not just stop it in space and not let it get anywhere near Earth? Are they trying to put on a show?

1. That's moving too fast for a missile. Meteors travel anywhere from 6-30 km/s on atmospheric entry. There is no missile that can come even close to that and this meteor was intercepted almost immediately after entry.

2. A missile would not continue on its trajectory after a successful impact as can be clearly seen in this case.

Another thing. Stop the video at 09:22 and the targeting system is visible. Perfect alignment for an interception south of Chelyabinsk, right there in that still. The ranges look pretty good in that still image, missile endurance would be the hard part. That particular radar is the targeting radar, sweep radars have much wider coverage, earlier notice, etc.

Re: RUSSIAN METEOR DESTROYED BY UFO - Hits It DEAD-ON, then SPEEDS PAST IT!!
a friend of mine who is a physics geek had this to say on it, just so happens that he was working on a project that deals with almost exactly this happening, and he already had the math done :

My theory on that object is this, and this is just a physics geek perspective and entirely hypothetical. I've no doubt I'm stretching a bit here but there is logic to it

The asteroid would have debris behind it sorta like a comet but obviously no where near the same scale and most of it I would expect to be pebble sized at most. However it's not unrealistic that on its journey something may have knocked some chunks off. They would continue in the same orbit speed and everything else if small enough, assuming of course whatever caused it to break off was just as simple as heat from the sun or some such. An impact would have sent pieces in a different orbit and speed.

So lets assume the above occurred and you have a chunk of asteroid following right behind the main piece. The large mass hits the atmosphere almost like hitting a brick wall. Except that brick wall causes the front of the asteroid to heat to crazy temps near instantaneously, the rear stays deep space cold. Basically this is just heavy friction more or less. Anyways, this causes the explosion we see on all these videos and at the same time this effect is occurring to cause the explosion its forcing the object to slow down at a massive rate.

Back to my theory of trailing debris, it would not have anything close to the same mass as the main object and by itself would not have that crazy instant slow down. The atmosphere would slow it in the same fashion but at a dramatically different rate. I suspect that if it was right behind the main mass as the video implies that it may not have felt any atmospheric impact at all at this point. Thus missile like impact to the asteroid. Like a cyclist riding same speed behind a car and the car suddenly hits a bus broadside.

Now the debris on the front is interesting, because of how the video is filtered to allow us to see the debris it's hard to tell for sure what stage of the explosion this is at. My gut says this is just debris from the asteroid exploding itself but it doesn't seem to me that there is enough of it. It also seems too much to says its the piece from behind shattering. It also seems like the bright explosion occurs immediately after that debris spreads off. Maybe its just the start of everything flying off from the compression of the atmosphere.
