I have been in the travel industry for the last 32 years, in customer service. The change-over in civility, manners, and caring has been astonishing. Actually I started in Germany, which back then was pretty old-school, so the contrast is even starker.

Back then, ppl were truly courteous, caring, and tried to fit in. Now....ppl are unbelievably self-centered, litigious, and even cruel.

And the funny thing is, even older folks are doing this. You'd think they'd know better. But it's as if everybody has succumbed to this downward degeneration of society.
