I see so many here that I am not surprised by them anymore. Me and my family watch them in broad daylight with binocs whenever possible. I used to report them but there are just too many. Keep your eyes on the sky, the night onesare the best when they light up the ground!! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30352670 Netherlands 02/17/2013 08:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is something unusual going on. The meteor detection network is showing what appears to be a lot of activity. People are reporting seeing large fireballs when usually you see a "shooting star" and it is just a brief streak of light that disappears immediately. The most unusual thing is some of the Florida people are reporting they actually heard sound as a result of the flash of light. I don't know if there really has been some rush to the "bunkers" by "gubberment" people in the know, but if that is true and they did not tell us.. maybe someone would go weld the damned doors shut and leave the sorry SOB's where they are. |

It was too fast for me to grab my phone to record it but I am literally shocked to have seen it. That was a little too close to home!! Anyone else see it? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1213519 I'm in Melbourne FL, did it leave a contrail? PSL here as well.. I was considering going out to watch the sky tonight cold and clear. OP where were you and what direction was it? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 34650593 United States 02/17/2013 10:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I heard a loud boom outside around 7:00pm tonight... Thought it sounded like a sonic boom, but thought it impossible. When I saw these Florida meteor threads I started to think that maybe I heard it entering the atmosphere? I'm in the North central Florida area. |
