I had bait in the water and was reeling my line in when I happened to look at the horizon and saw a fireball in the sky! Was outback of my apt building in aventura and saw it straight east of ft lauderdale. Crazy stuff!

Okay, this is what is weird to me. Whenever the weather folks spotted a meteor shower they used to let people know it was coming and to be on the lookout.

Why is it now we aren't hearing about meteors in the area until after the fact?
