All of the fuck fuck back and forth about whether or not this is significant or not can be settled quickly, both here in the Miami incident, as well as any bright "fireball" type of meteors in the the short term as well as the intermediate future, by asking one thing.... How many people got hurt/suffered property damage?

If the meteors start affecting daily routines, it will be a story.

Until then, it's doom fodder.

The meteor scan has been going wild at least since last night. There has been a few threads about the scans going crazy since last night.

How do you come to that conclusion? Nothing has been hit yet. Not even in Russia. It exploded 30 miles up and came down in micro filaments.

When they start hitting the ground then you can freak out. But i think the increase in frequency is something to take note of.

Great observation! I like how we keep seeing strange hovering objects near all the meteors, that would explain the need for the jets to be deployed

Someone's balls caught on fire in Miami?

Meteor showers can last a few days so this can still be part of the astroid / meteor shower from the other day. Also yes astroids and meteors can be connected. They can travel together in a sort of pace pack. I'm not sure if they were in this case because I havent had time to look at the trajectory, but I am pretty sure the meteors we have been seeing the last few days are all related and part of a meteor shower.

Since we are on the subject of space doom I will give you the most dangerous threat to human life on earth and it called coronal mass ejections or cme. Look it up if you dont know what it is. In this scenario its not a matter of if but when. Yes it will be boring when it knocks out of tvs or cells, but thats not the worst. Where it will do the most damage is too farming equipment all over the world and transportation vehicles for food mainly planes, boats, and trucks. People will starve on a scale never before seen.

The thing about space is that if its not one thing its another. There is little we can do to stop any of it contrary to what scientist say. Little funding is giving to research space doomsday scenarios. We are like a crow gliding on a shooting range with out eyes close. Its just a matter of time.
