Florida cat acting weird time of meteor showers
So I live in Florida, and we heard this stray cat carrying out for an hour or so, i think it was around 8ish. The cat even came up to my screen door knocking and trying to get in. Was really weird. I made a plate of food for him, and then he disappeared, haven't heard him since. So I made it joke it must be a sign of some sort of pending doom. Well now i am reading people all over Florida saw meteors at that time including in my area.

Oh i meant to say cat was "carrying on" moaning or crying or something on the side of my house, and he was by himself. I felt so bad after about an hour, i made him a plate of food, but he disappeared before i could give him the food.

Yes cats are weird, all of the time, but we don't usually hear them at all unless its really late, and/or they are fighting or mating with another cat. Just seemed off.

Our cat is acting normal. Well she has been extra lazy. Now our dog, a Westie, has been annoying me. He wants in, then he wants out, scratches on the door and wants in and then turn around and whimpers at the door and wants out. This has been going on since Thursday.

My dog died but she did that every day and night for 8 years. He is just being a dog if you ask me. I mean what else do they have to do lol. My dog always thought she was missing something in the backyard. Then she would realize nothing is going on, but then she would forget and have to go back outside again. And on and on and on.

I love the little critter but this out of his norm enough for me to remark on. He probably is just amped over something that has been in his yard.

There has been way more than one sighting here in Florida, and I live in Clearwater area, not sure what time that one came through but several people saw it, and the cat started carrying on shortly after dark.
